NEWS RELEASE
SAULT COLLEGE CYC PUBLICITY COMMITTEE
****************************
Each year, Sault College’s Child and Youth Care students host a fundraising event in support of an important local organization. This year, we are hosting a virtual auction with all proceeds being donated to the local Soup Kitchen. The auction will begin on April 18 and ends on April 20 and will be available through https://www.theauctionadvertiser.com/MPeever. We’ve got some great items, such as: toys, gift cards and many more.

“The Soup Kitchen has been supporting individuals in the community for 38 years and its Brighter Beginnings afterschool programs have been vital to supporting low-income families. This year we are raising funds that will allow the Soup Kitchen to offer a fun and safe children’s summer program called a Summer to Remember. The funds raised will go towards the purchase of healthy snacks, activity supplies, and for various programs,” said the Organizing Committee.

“Our class chose to support this program because we know many of these children and families do not have access to healthy snacks or the opportunity to participate in these types of events or activities. The success of this program relies on the funds raised from the generosity of donors in our community, and we are proud to offer our support and make a difference in these families’ lives.”

Keep up-to-date on our upcoming auction by following us on our Facebook page or you can search for Sault College CYC Fundraising Event.

Join us virtually between April 18-20 and help support an amazing community organization! If you have any concerns or questions, please feel free to contact Donna Mansfield at (705) 759-2554 ext. 2549 or Marlena Gervasi, Chair of Publicity Committee at (705) 989-4186.
