The YMCA is in the process of forming a league they feel will be a smash with local high school volleyball players.

The new Summer Indoor/Outdoor Volleyball League is open to both boys and girls ages 14 to 19 who are attending high school or have just graduated in June.

The league will run twice a week with the indoor portion of the schedule held at the YMCA on Thursdays and the outdoor portion on Tuesdays at RYTAC.

Players may register individually or as a team of six to eight players.

The league schedule will begin on July 8 and continue through to the playoff tournament on August 24.

Advance registration is required and can be done at the YMCA front desk. The cost per player is $30 for YMCA or RYTAC members and $50 for non-members.
