It was a complete night at Laird International Raceway on Thursday night.

The usual 11 p.m. curfew in Laird township on race-nights was waived and the drivers at LIR took full advantage of the extra time given to them. Opening up with qualifying at 6 p.m., the final race of the night, which saw George Wilson take the Late Model feature, ended shortly after 11 p.m.

Wilson, who also won the Late Model fast car dash, took home the feature after passing Jason Praysner late in the race and holding off both Praysner and a hard-charging Rod Bolduc to earn the victory. Jordan Sims, making his return to LIR on Thursday night won a heat race, as did Praysner.

In the Factory Stock Division, John Fragale won the feature over Cody McLean and Josh Maitland. McLean and Matiland both won heat races while Fragale won the fast car dash/

The 35-lap feature in the Modified Division had its interesting moment midway through the race when driver Nick Kozak was involved in his third caution of the race, brining out the black flag and an end to his night for his efforts. Kozak received a stern speech fro flagman Kevin King on the front stretch and following the conversation Kozak hopped out of his car and left it on the track near the start/finish line and walked back to the pits. The car was eventually towed back into the pits. Once racing resumed, Mav MacDonald weaved his way to the front of the field and took top spot over Nick Jobst and Kevin Oicle. Rick Ellis and Glen Irwin won the heat races while Kozak won the dash.

The Stock Four Division saw Adam Gardner hold off Tristan Anderson and Chris Humphrey to take the A-Main feature race. Kyle Jarrett won the B-Main feature race while John Gardner, Tyler Parsons, Adam Gardner and Donny Mergaert won the heat races.

Action continues at LIR next Thursday as always with qualifying set for 6 p.m. and racing at 7 p.m.
