LONDON -- Defenceman Trevor Daley scored his third goal of the game with 44 seconds left in the third period to give the Soo Greyhounds a 5-4 win over the London Knights before 6,664 fans at the John Labatt Centre on Sunday night. The Soo victory was its first after two setbacks that began a seven game road trip and moves the Greyhounds two points ahead of the idle Owen Sound Attack into sole possession of eighth place in the OHL's Western Conference. Adam Munro kept the Greyhounds in the game with a 34 save effort, 15 of which came in the third period. The Soo managed 24 shots on London goalie Chris Houle. Right-winger Jeff Larsh played a very strong game for the Soo and had a goal. London native Jeff Carter also scored for the Soo. Winger Dylan Hunter, with a goal and an assist, was London's best player.
