A pair of weekend games wrapped up the week in high school hockey.
On Friday night, a power play goal by Mark Keenan was the difference as Superior Heights beat CASS 5-4.
Keenan’s goal gave the Steelhawks a 5-2 lead at the time, but CASS would score a pair of last goals, both off the stick of Mason Mortimore in the final 88 seconds of regulation time, to make the game close.
Hunter Rancourt had a goal and an assist for Superior Heights while Braydon Nystedt assisted on three Steelhawks goals.
Tristian DuFour, Cale Irwin, and Michael Barrone also scored for Superior Heights.
Mack Ableson had a goal and an assist for CASS while Joel Lameroux had the other Huskies goal.
Austin Mortimore assisted on three goals for CASS.
On Saturday night, CASS rebounded with a 6-3 win over Korah in Thessalon.
Ableson had two goals and an assist for the Huskies, who scored five times in the second period en route to the win.
Chase MacIntyre chipped in with a goal and an assist for the Huskies. Austin Mortimore had a pair of assists in the win.
Mason Mortimore, Trent Smith, and Shaymus Gregory also scored for CASS.
Jordan Cliffe had a goal and an assist for Korah.
Tyson Culina and Kyle Birch had the other goals for the Colts.
The high school hockey schedule continues on Monday as Korah faces CASS in a 3:30 p.m. start at the John Rhodes Community Centre.
