As the high school sports season winds down, the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) track and field event entered day two in Windsor on Friday.
Jenna Flemming of CASS was the top local athlete on the day as she finished third in the midget girls javelin event.
Taylor Elliot of Korah finished eighth in the junior girl’s shot put. She also competed in the discus.
Emily Good of CASS, who won three events at NOSSA, took eighth among 24 competitors in senior girl’s javelin while also competing in the discus on Friday.
Caleb Dawson of White Pines picked up a seventh place finish in the midget boy’s javelin.
Olivia Orazietti of St. Mary’s narrowly missed qualifying for the final in the junior girl’s 100m dash.
