In the first semi-final in the Myte Division, Rezolution had five different players reach the end zone in a 42-7 victory over Community First.

James White, Quinn Barban, Justin Senecal, Jordan Rooney, and Joshua Ochoa all scored touchdowns along the ground for Rezolution. Jacob Creedon scored the lone touchdown for Community First. Rezolution's defensive end Jaron Rowe won player of the game honours.

In the other semi-final, Aidan Macleod was unstoppable as he had four rushing touchdowns and added a beautiful receiving touchdown from Quarterback Austin Macarone as Lop Lops hung on for a 43-36 victory over J.M.C. Builders.

Braedan Turco completed the scoring for Lop Lops with a touchdown run. J.M.C's Cade Nolan had a strong game with two rushing touchdowns and a long receiving touchdown from Quarterback Palmer Simpson. Nolan's teammate Eric Lemieux also ran the ball well on his way to two rushing touchdowns. Lop Lops Aidan Macleod was chosen as the player of the game.

TYKE DIVISION

In the first Tyke Division semi-final, Sports Gold dominated from start to finish in beating Sal-Dan 34-0. Kyle Dionisi led his team with two touchdowns and teammates Raymond Houle and Mitchell Osborne completed the scoring on offense.

Linebacker Peter Greve intercepted a pass and returned it to the house to complete the scoring for Sports Gold. Sal-Dan's Michael Nelson, David Toppan and Alexander Herle had strong games in a losing cause. Dionisi was chosen as the player of the game.

Rome's used a creative offense and a timely defense in their 38-14 semi-final victory over Joey Calzone's. Quarterback Carter Lukenda threw for one touchdown and received a touchdown on a trick play from Aldechi Fenos to lead his team. Fenos and Nicholas Pezzutto scored along the ground and teammate Brian Fronzi completed the scoring with a touchdown reception.

Calzone's Anthony Miller and Luck Buck scored on touchdown runs for their team. Linebacker Corey James had a strong game on defense for Calzone's. Rome's linebacker Mathieu Ouellet was all over the field making tackles for Rome's earning him the player of the game honours.

BANTAM DIVISION

In the first of two very exciting Bantam Division semi-finals, Jerret Semczyszyn's interception for a touchdown on the last play of the game sealed the deal as Aurora's escaped with a 28-21 victory over Scholars Learning.

Aurora's David Quesnele and Darcy Casola scored along the ground, while teammates Brian Nanne and Alex Griffa hooked up for a touchdown through the air. Scholar's received rushing touchdowns from Matthew Fitton, Chad Thibodeau, and Bryan Greco. It was a great game with the outcome in doubt until the final play. Aurora's Quarterback Brian Nanne had many heads-up plays and another strong performance on his way to earning the player of the game honours.

In the longest game in Sault Minor Football history, J.J. Parrott scored the game winning touchdown run in quadruple overtime as North Shore Telus defeated Brody's 28-22. Brody's took the lead late in the game 22-14 on one of Justin's Sauerzopf's three touchdown runs.

With under a minute to go in regulation, Quarterback Mario Bruni completed a 15yard pass to David McNally who then lateraled the ball back to James Castellani in what is known as the "hook and ladder" play. Castellani did the rest and ran 55 yards down the right sideline into the end zone to bring his team within two. The two point convert was good and we were off to overtime.

Both teams went back and forth with the defenses flexing their muscle denying the opposition time after time. A 20 yard pass completion from Telus's Bruni to Nathan Kahtava in the fourth overtime set up J.J. Parrott's heroics from 4 yards out. Brody's linebacker Bryan Babic had another strong game with three interceptions, two of them in overtime.

Teammate Rhys Mahler also had a stellar game with many tackles behind the line of scrimmage. Telus's Patrick McGrath and Logan Jones had strong defensive games for their team. Parrott earned the player of the game honours.
