The Sault Hockey Officials Association (SHOA), on behalf of the Northern Ontario Hockey Association (NOHA), would like to announce the confirmed dates for the Hockey Canada Officiating Program (HCOP) Certification Clinics for Sault Ste. Marie and surrounding area. All clinics will be held at Algoma University College, with room specifics to be posted on the day of the clinic-dates are as follows:

Sunday, 9 September - 9am (Senior Officials only) Tuesday/Wednesday, 11/12 September - 7pm (Senior and Junior Officials) Saturday, 15 September - 9am (Junior and New Officials only)

The Sault Hockey Officials Association is an organization that vies to create a positive image for itself through providing support, through its members, for community-oriented initiatives and projects. During the 2006-07 season the Association raised well over $3000 for local charities and organizations. The SHOA encourages its members to participate in events such as the Canadian Cancer Society's Relay for Life, the SHOA Sponsored Bowling Fun Night supporting Child Find Ontario, Christmas Cheer and other team-oriented and community benefiting endeavours.

SHOA also employs the Fightin' Zebras team moniker that is used in all events and is comprised entirely of SHOA registered officials.
