SARNIA -- The Sarnia Sting smoked the Soo Greyhounds 7-3 here Thursday for their first win of the season over their OHL West Division rivals. The outcome of the match was never in doubt as the home team lead 3-0 after the first period and 5-1 after two. Sarnia was 0-3-1 against the Soo crew before Thursday's encounter. Joey Tenute and Danny Fritsche both had four-point nights for Sarnia. Tenute had the hat trick and Fritsche picked up three assists. Scott Dobben had a pair of markers for the Soo and Matt Puntereri had the other Greyhound goal. Sarnia outshot the Soo 43-23 before more than 3,800 loud and noisy fans.
