The St. Basil Saints used goals from five different players in a 5-1 victory over the White Pines Wolverines in hockey school hockey action on Wednesday night at the John Rhodes Community Centre.
Steven Nelli, Nick DiCandia, Anthony Spina, Billy McCabe and Nathan Richichi provided the scoring for the Saints while Daniel Martens recorded the win in goal.
Chris DiPaulo replied with the lone goal for White Pines.
In the other game, Peter Filioglou proved unbeatable in goal as the St. Mary's Knights shutout the Bawating Braves 5-0.
Matt Kudyba and Jordan Casola led the Knights with two goals each while Brandon Gassi added another.
Action continues on Friday at the Rhodes with the Korah Colts meeting Central Algoma at 7 p.m. followed by St. Mary's and the Sir James Dunn Eagles at 8:45 p.m.
Three games are scheduled for Saturday at Memorial Gardens as Korah and White Pines faceoff at 5 p.m. St. Mary's will face Bawating at 6:45 p.m. while St. Basil and Sir James Dunn square off at 8:30 p.m.
