The Soo North Stars remain winless at the Telus Cup national midget hockey championships after another tough loss on Tuesday.

In Red Deer, Alberta, the North Stars were nipped 2-1 by the Vancouver Giants to fall to 0-2 in the round robin with three games remaining.

Jarrett Burton scored the lone North Stars goal while Anthony Colizza collected game star honours. Justin Hogsden made the start in goal.

The North Stars are back in action on Wednesday evening against the representatives from Quebec.
