National Supply grabs another tie

The Sault National Supply AAA Pee Wee team picked up a tie and a loss on day three at the All-Ontario Pee Wee AAA Hockey Championships in Leamington on Wednesday.

The locals now sport a 0-3-2 record with one round robin game remaining and attaining a playoff spot appears to be out of reach.

To open play on Wednesday, National Supply battled back for a 3-3 tie with the tough London Jr. Knights before dropping another heartbreaker 3-2 to the Thunder Bay Kings.

Against London, National Supply trailed 3-0 after two periods but rallied with three goals in the third period for the draw. Aidan Wright scored a goal and added an assist with singles goals going to Jake Wright and Matthew Zalewski.

Scoring details from the game against the Kings were not available.

National Supply will play their final round robin game on Thursday at 11 a.m. against the York Simcoe Express.
