Local figure skaters take their show on the road

The Lake Superior Figure Skating Club was represented by several skaters in out of town competitions this past weekend. Taylor Ewing and Madeleine Rutledge competed at the St. Clair Shores Autumn Classic which was held in St. Clair Shores, Michigan.

The Lake Superior Figure Skating Club was represented by several skaters in out of town competitions this past weekend.

Taylor Ewing and Madeleine Rutledge competed at the St. Clair Shores Autumn Classic which was held in St. Clair Shores, Michigan.

Ewing placed fourth in the short program and sixth in the long program in Intermediate. Rutledge skated in the Preliminary division and placed fourth in the free skate, first in compulsory and first in spins.

Victoria Prouse competed in the Figure 8 Autumn Skate competition which was held in Ottawa. She placed fifth in the short program in Novice Ladies Group three and seventh in the long program in Novice Ladies Group three for an overall placement of sixth.

All three skaters are all coached by Ilvana Coletti.
