Knights pick up senior basketball win

Thursday saw just one game on the senior girl’s high school basketball schedule

Leah Thomson had 13 points as St. Mary’s beat Korah 49-32.

Madison Boucher chipped in with 11 points for the Knights.

Gracie Sloss led Korah with 13 points while Esther Yule had 10.

In senior action on Wednesday, Hannah Heimonen had 10 points and Brayden Corbett-Lewis had eight as Superior Heights beat White Pines 47-15 in the lone game of the night.

Cecilia Holzworth had six points for White Pines.

In junior action on Thursday, Ella Zachary had 14 points for the Colts in a 43-31 win over St. Mary’s.

Ashlyn Noble of St. Mary’s led all scorers in the game with 19 points.

The high school basketball schedule resumes on Oct. 22 when White Pines hosts St. Mary’s and Korah hosts Superior Heights in both junior and senior action.

The junior games tip off at 5:15 p.m. with the senior games to follow at 7 p.m.
