The Kinross Speedway will drop the green flag to officially begin their 2004 stock car race season on Friday night.
After the pre-season program, which was offered as a free show for fans, was rained out last Friday, racers will hit the track to begin the points season.
Time trials begin at 6 p.m. with racing to follow at 7:30 p.m. Admission to the main grandstand is $8 U.S. or $11 Canadian for adults and $6 U.S. or $8 Canadian for students. Kids 12 and under are admitted free.
Kinross features action in the late model, factory stock, pure stock and four-cylinder divisions on a quarter-mile oval track.
Opening night will feature the annual awards to the best looking cars.
