Junior Greyhounds pick up weekend win

The lone game on the Great North Midget Hockey League schedule for the Soo Jr. Greyhounds saw the team pick up a 7-5 win over the Kapuskasing Flyers on Friday night.

Michael Chaffay led the way offensively for the Jr. Greyhounds while Devin Mauro had a goal and two assists for the Jr. Greyhounds.

Calem Mangone and Connor Toms had a goal and an assist.

Kolby Fellinger also scored.

Kelsey Ouellet had a pair of goals for the Flyers while Justin Alary chipped in with a goal and an assist.

Alex Antoine also scored for the Flyers.

The Jr. Greyhounds return to action on Feb. 22 at home against the Sudbury Wolves minor midget team.
