In Soo Italia Labatt Indoor Soccer playoff action Sunday afternoon, the 2005/06 regular season champs, SI Athlete's Foot made it a clean sweep by winning back-to-back-to-back titles and its fourth playoff championship in the last 6 years.

In Soo Italia Labatt Indoor Soccer playoff action Sunday afternoon, the 2005/06 regular season champs, SI Athlete's Foot made it a clean sweep by winning back-to-back-to-back titles and its fourth playoff championship in the last 6 years.

The 7-6 victory came at the expense of third place Great Northern Auto who scored first early in the game and battled back twice from two goal deficits to take the game into overtime.

SI Athlete's Foot scored late in the first half of overtime and held the lead for the rest of the game to seal the deal with a beautifully placed shot by Jordan Giordano on a perfect pass from Mark Ciotti from a free kick.

Goal scorers for SI Athlete's Foot were Jeff Diluzio, Matt DiFlumeri, Mike Blackstock, Jordan Giordano (2), Jason Murray and Matt Ferlaino. Goal scorers for Great Northern Auto were Radu Vladuleasa (2), Daci Vladuleasa (2), John Borelli and Jason Borelli.

Later in the evening, the annual awards banquet was held at the Portugese Hall where awards were given to:

Al DiPasquo (SI Athletes Foot): MVP

Scott Magic (Croatia): Best Goalie

Tommy Katagis (Soo Italia) and Rob Green (Croatia): Best Defensemen

Radu Vladuleasa (Great Northern Auto): Most Sportsmanlike Player.

Jeff Diluzio (SI Athletes Foot) and Richard Yendell (Great Northern Auto): Top scorers (Regular Season)
