The Soo Greyhounds have now twice experienced the offensive assault of the London Knights.

Last Sunday at home, the Greyhounds allowed the Knights to light up the scoreboard during a third period collapse for a 6-3 win.

On Saturday, the Knights scored early and often in an 8-3 win over the Hounds in front of 9,045 fans at the John Labatt Centre in London in Ontario Hockey League action.

The Knights, the top ranked team in Canada and host of this season's Memorial Cup, improved to a perfect 10-0 on the season while the Greyhounds fall to 2-6-1.

The loss for the Hounds comes just one night after the team collected their first road win of the season 5-4 over Kitchener.

Dylan Hunter led the Knights attack with three goals and two assists while fellow sniper Corey Perry scored a goal and setup four others.

Trevor Kell, Brandon Prust, Jordan Foreman and Bryan Rodney also scored for the Knights while Danny Syvret added two assists.

The Knights led by scores of 3-0 after one period and 5-2 after two periods.

Jason Pitton and Jeff Carter, on the power play, each scored their second goal of the road trip while Tyler McKinley scored his first OHL goal late in the third period on the power play.

Blair Jarrett recorded a pair of assists while Carter chipped in with another helper.

London converted four of seven power play opportunities while the Greyhounds scored twice on four opportunities.

Jakub Cech started the game for the Greyhounds but was yanked in favour of Kyle Gajewski following London's third goal on six shots 13:18 into the opening period. Gajewski kicked aside 30 of 35 shots the rest of the way.

The Greyhounds return to begin a two-game home stand on Friday as they host the Windsor Spitfires at 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Gardens.

Next Sunday, the Hounds host the Saginaw Spirit at 7 p.m.
