The Soo Greyhounds dealt overage defenseman Brad Staubitz to the Ottawa 67's on Monday in another Ontario Hockey League trade between the two teams.

Staubitz along with recently acquired forward Jamie VanderVeeken were dealt to the nation's capital in exchange for overage forward Brody Todd and 17 year-old defenseman Tyson Aitcheson.

Last Tuesday, the Hounds dealt defenseman David Jarram to the 67's for Kyle Wharton.

VanderVeeken's stay in the Sault was a short one. The Hounds picked up the winger in a Dec. 7 trade with the Toronto St. Michael's Majors for Jeff Larsh.

Todd, a former second round draft pick of the Kingston Frontenacs, stands at six-foot two, 225 pounds and will add some muscle to the lineup. In 32 games this season, Todd has scored eight goals and has set up eight others.

Aitcheson, a second year player who stands at six-foot-two and 195 pounds, is considered a mobile defenseman and has picked up a point in 22 games this season.

The OHL trade deadline is Monday.

The Greyhounds are back in action on Friday when the Windsor Spitfires visit Memorial Gardens at 7:30 p.m.
