The Soo Greyhounds have been the busiest team in the Ontario Hockey League trade market down the stretch after making a pair of minor deals on Wednesday evening.
After Tuesday's four-player deal with Sarnia, the Hounds on Wednesday shipped 18 year-old defenseman Chris Hawley to the Peterborough Petes for a fourth round draft pick in the 2005 Ontario Hockey League draft.
The Greyhounds followed that move by sending 18 year-old forward Adam Rhymer to the Belleville Bulls for centre Aaron Lewicki and a 15th round pick in the 2004 OHL draft.
The 18 year-old Lewicki scored two goals and three assists for five points in his rookie season with Kingston and Belleville last year in 56 games. This season,
Rhymer, who was acquired by the Greyhounds from Kingston in September, has three goals and four assists in 27 games this season. Hawley, acquired by the Hounds from Mississauga in October, has a goal and four assists in 24 games this season.
On Tuesday, the Hounds made a major move by sending overage enforcer Colt King and defenseman Matt Manias to the Sarnia Sting for overage defenseman Travis Chapman and gritty forward Reg Thomas.
The OHL trade deadline is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Friday.
