Hounds deal Larsh to Majors

The Soo Greyhounds have sent veteran winger Jeff Larsh packing. On Tuesday, the Hounds shipped the 19 year-old fourth-year player to the Toronto St. Michael’s Majors in exchange for 18 year-old left winger Jamie VanderVeeken.

On Tuesday, the Hounds shipped the 19 year-old fourth-year player to the Toronto St. Michael’s Majors in exchange for 18 year-old left winger Jamie VanderVeeken. Conditional draft picks were also worked into the deal.

In 27 games this season, Larsh scored eight goals and added seven assists for 15 points. VanderVeeken has recorded four goals and eight assists in 23 games.

The Greyhounds begin a stretch of seven consecutive games on the road starting Wednesday night in Belleville.
