The loss comes after the Greyhounds opened the road trip with a 4-3 win against the Oshawa Generals on Thursday before handling the Kingston Frontenacs 5-2 on Friday night. The loss also snapped a four-game winning streak.

With four of a possible six points on the road trip, the Greyhounds remain in first spot in the OHL's West Division with a 12-7-1-1 record for 26 points. The Hounds are two points ahead of the Plymouth Whalers and three up on the Sarnia Sting, although both teams have games in hand.

After a scoreless first period, Colt King opened the scoring for the Greyhounds as the overage forward tipped home his third goal of the year off a Jeff Doyle pass to give the Hounds a 1-0 lead 38 seconds into the second period.

Patrick O'Sullivan tied the game for the Ice Dogs later in the frame before Kyle Quincey scored the game winner on the power play at 11:50 of the third period.

Greyhounds goaltender Jakub Cech stopped 19 of 21 shots and was named the game's third star. Mississauga netminder Doug Groenestege had a solid game stopping 35 of 36 Greyhound shots for the win and the first star selection.

The Greyhounds return home for a three-game stand beginning Wednesday against Sarnia at 7 p.m. at Memorial Gardens. The Guelph Storm visit on Friday at 7:30 p.m. before the Ice Dogs arrive for a 7:30 p.m. start on Saturday.

In other OHL action on Sunday, Robbie Schremp scored twice to lead London past Guelph 3-1. Wojtek Wolski scored the game winner as Brampton beat Sudbury 4-2 , Tim Brent scored twice to lead Toronto St. Michael's past Kingston 4-1 and Jordan Grant scored the game winner as Plymouth edged Saginaw 3-2.

Jeremy Akeson scored the winner as the Ottawa 67's doubled the Oshawa Generals 4-2 and Lukas Bolf scored the eventual winner as Barrie edged Peterborough 3-2.
