SOO GREYHOUNDS

************************* Hounds, Spitfires trade picks

The Soo Greyhounds and Windsor Spitfires completed a trade involving draft picks earlier today.

In the deal the Greyhounds will receive two picks (one in '07 and one in '08) in exchange for one pick going Windsor's way.

Here's how the deal works out:

To Sault Ste. Marie

Sudbury's 4th round pick (#67) in 2007 Windsor’s 4th round pick in 2008

To Windsor

Sault Ste. Marie's 3rd round pick (#53) in 2007

With this trade, the Greyhounds continue to hold 16 picks in Saturday’s OHL priority selection.

The locals will start things off by making the 13th overall pick in Round 1.
