Greyhounds pick up Adam Rhymer

The Soo Greyhounds have added more depth and youthfulness to their forward lines with the acquisition of Adam Rhymer on Monday. The 18 year-old was dealt from the Kingston Frontenacs to the Greyhounds in exchange for a condition draft pick in the 2004 OHL draft. Rhymer, a Kingston native, split last season between the Frontenacs and their Tier two team. In 15 OHL games, Rhymer scored a goal and added two assists in limited playing time. Originally drafted by the Brampton Battalion in the fourth round, Rhymer is described as an offensively skilled player. Rhymer will join the Greyhounds for their games on the road this weekend. The move also adds another body to the large Greyhounds roster. The team now carries 26 players, nine of which are defenseman, on their roster. The Greyhounds travel to Kitchener on Friday and meet the Owen Sound Attack on Saturday night.
