Just a little over a week into the season, Croatia has found themselves off to a good start in Sault Amateur Soccer Association Premier League men's soccer play.

Just a little over a week into the season, Croatia has found themselves off to a good start in Sault Amateur Soccer Association Premier League men's soccer play.

On opening night, Sasa Jurko and Phil Rucci scored for Croatia in a 2-2 draw with Bavarian Inn. Nana Boateng scored twice for Bavarian Inn.

Croatia then nipped U-Betcha 2-1 before rolling past the Under-17 Civics 9-0.

Jurko and David Culina scored in the win over U-Betcha while Jurko and Matt Irving led the attack over the U-17 Civics with two goals each. Singles went to Culina, Matt DiBerardino, Andrew Gray, Mark Cicino and Rob Green. John Borelli scored the lone goal for U-Betcha.

In the other reported game from the opening week, Boateng and Rob Barsanti scored in a 2-1 Bavarian Inn decision over Athlete's Foot. Tris Cicchello scored the lone goal in defeat.
