Five locals selected to U-13 regional hoops squad

Five girls from Sault Ste. Marie travelled to Sudbury last weekend to attend tryouts for the Ontario Basketball Association, Bantam Development Program.

Five girls from Sault Ste. Marie travelled to Sudbury last weekend to attend tryouts for the Ontario Basketball Association, Bantam Development Program.

Jessie Kelly, Rhaelyn Gillespie, Anna-Lee Policicchio, Maggie Braido, and Nikki Antler were successful and were chosen to become members of the Team North - Under 13's.

The Team North - Under 13's girls will travel to York University July 15-18 along with teams from all over the province to attend a special development camp and play in a tournament.
