CASS falls short at NOSSA volleyball championships

The Central Algoma Secondary School boys volleyball teams participated in NOSSA Championships this past weekend. The Senior Boys hosted the “AA” Championships and finished 0-3 against Chippewa 15-25, 20-25, St.

The Central Algoma Secondary School boys volleyball teams participated in NOSSA Championships this past weekend.

The Senior Boys hosted the “AA” Championships and finished 0-3 against Chippewa 15-25, 20-25, St. Benedict 25-19, 20-25, 10-15 and Lo Ellen (Sudbury) 25-19, 26-24.

Chippewa S.S.(North Bay) defeated St. Benedict (Sudbury)25- 7, 25-7. Chippewa now travels to Dryden for the OFSAA Championships.

The CASS junior team travelled to Sudbury where they defeated Franco Cite(Sturgeon Falls) but lost to MacDonald Cartier (Sudbury) and Champlain (Sudbury) to be eliminated from the tournament.
