Central Algoma Secondary School captured their fourth consecutive North Shore Secondary Schools Association Track & Field Championship at Elliot Lake Secondary School on Tuesday.
CASS will be sending 50 athletes to the Northern Ontario Secondary Schools Association Track & Field Championships May 25 & 26 in Sudbury. Kaitlin Smith (Midget Girls) and Shaun Siemers (Senior Boys) won the aggregate awards for their respective divisons.
CASS captured five of six division titles with the only exception in Senior Girls. The Huskies won the aggregate championship with 910 points followed by Manitoulin S.S. with 701. Nine schools participated in the meet.
