The Elks 341 Black Sox were close, but couldn't quite close things out.

The Black Sox held a 4-2 lead over Rogers City in the title game of the Sault Ste. Marie Invitational tournament on Sunday afternoon, only to see the visiting team score four runs late to take the title game 6-4.

The Black Sox defeated Soo, Michigan by a 6-3 score in their semi-final game on the strength of two hits each from Corey Jackson and Brandon Hansen. The Black Sox put up five runs in the fifth inning to blow the game open. Rogers City defeated Mancelona 10-4 in their semi-final game.

In the title game Jackson again had a pair of hits for the locals. Collin McAuley led the way with three singles in the loss. Scott Thornton also had two hits in the game.
