The Algoma Basketball Association women's summer league continued on Wednesday at the Bawating gym with three games. The Digital Recruits upended Joey Calzone's 36-29 as Shauna Conway led the winners with 13 points and Jessica King added 10.

The Algoma Basketball Association women's summer league continued on Wednesday at the Bawating gym with three games. The Digital Recruits upended Joey Calzone's 36-29 as Shauna Conway led the winners with 13 points and Jessica King added 10. Brittney Denneny led Calzone's with seven points and Jaclyn Cummings added six. The Braves upended Sal-Dan Developments 34-20 led by nine points from Kathleen Thorburn and eight by Lee Ann Faganely and Roberta Reid. Katie Hamilton netted six in defeat. In the other game, Primo Pizza bested Joey Calzone's 32-22 led by 10 points from Simone Taylor and seven from Carly Zuke. Laura Clement topped Calzone's with eight points.
