It was a day of champions as the Sault Minor Football Association capped another successful season on Sunday at Rocky DiPietro Field.

In the myte division, Rezolution defeated Lop Lops 28-21 in overtime, Sports Gold held off Rome's 31-14 in the tyke division and Aurora's Westside shutout Northshore Telus 22-0 in bantam.

Also on Sunday, veteran coach Len Monico, shown hugging SMFA president Ryan Lillington, coached the final game of his successful career as he led Aurora's to the win.
