Would you take $100K? Rotaryfest draw features record cash prize

The prizes for the annual Rotaryfest "Take Your Pick" draw have a bit of a new look.

The cash option for the winner will now be $100,000 in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Rotaryfest (Community Days) event.

It's the first time the cash prize option has been six figures.

Ticket prices are remaining the same.

“We felt that with this being the 100th anniversary of Community Days (Rotaryfest), it would be exciting to up our prize package to $100,000," Take Your Pick co-chair Rod Goodall said, adding that the other prize packages have also increased in value this year.

One of the prizes that can be picked by this year’s winner is a fully electric 2023 Ford F150 Lightning along with $5,000 cash. 

The second grand prize option is a 2023 GMC Canyon and a brand new SeaDoo Switch.

Soo Mill is also a part of the prize lineup this year with an added $15,000 in prizes as there will be three bonus draws for a $1,000, $4,000, and $10,000 Soo Mill gift certificate before the grand prize draw.

Tickets are available now and can be purchased at local gas stations and lottery outlets as well as online.

The draw will be held on July 15 beginning at 11:45 p.m.
