This weekend will bring the warmest temperatures of 2025 for the Sault region. The last time it was as warm as this week was the week of Christmas. Not only will temperatures climb several degrees above freezing, but we may also even see some shower activity at the start of the week. However, much colder weather awaits at the end of the workweek and into the weekend.
Monday will be mostly cloudy, with morning snow changing to drizzle or scattered showers. The precipitation should end around noon, and temperatures should then reach +5°C in the afternoon.
Tuesday brings a mix of sun and cloud, with a daytime high of +3°C.
Wednesday and Thursday will be mostly cloudy, with scattered flurries and afternoon temperatures near +2°C each day.
Much colder air and more significant snow arrive on Friday as daytime highs drop to -6°C. The cooler air will linger through this coming weekend.
