Workweek Outlook: Warmer and only a risk of mid-week rain

Watch for a slight cooldown at the end of the week

The weather pattern that brought cooler air into the Sault region this past weekend will give way to a setup that brings a gradual warmup this week. With that heat comes a little instability on Wednesday that could bring a shower here and there, but no heavy rain is expected.  Watch for a slight cooldown at the end of the week.

We can expect a sunny day on Monday, but the persistent northwest wind will be crucial in keeping the afternoon temperatures at a moderate 17°C.

The sunshine continues into Tuesday, with daytime highs reaching 22°C. A few clouds move in during the late afternoon and evening.

Wednesday will be partly cloudy, with a slight chance for an afternoon shower as temperatures climb to 24°C. Thursday brings a few more clouds, a better chance of showers, and possibly some thunder.

Skies should clear on Friday, but daytime highs fall back into the upper teens.
