Workweek Outlook: The warm air won't stay

This colder-than-normal air will remain in the Sault area for the end of the week and possibly into the Easter Weekend
weather_weekday_outlook

Warm air will surge into the region during the first part of this week, bringing above-seasonal temperatures and some rain that will help melt existing snow. However, the system bringing all the rain will help pull colder air into the region by midweek. This colder-than-normal air will remain in the Sault area for the end of the week and possibly into the Easter Weekend.

On Monday, temperatures will climb to +6°C under mostly cloudy skies. Gusty east winds will blow all day, and rain will start in the evening and continue overnight.

Heavy rain will fall early Tuesday and then again that evening. Strong east winds are likely in the morning, and daytime highs will reach +8°C in the afternoon.

Light snow is likely on Wednesday as temperatures fall back to near +2°C. The end of the week will bring a mix of sun and cloud, with daytime highs remaining a couple of degrees above the freezing mark.
