Last week's temperature drop has come and gone, and get ready for more heat this upcoming week. Each day this week will continue to get slightly warmer until we approach record-breaking temperatures. By Thursday, daytime highs will be about 10 degrees warmer than normal for mid-September.

Foggy patches early Monday morning give way to mostly sunny skies and afternoon temperatures of 22°C. More fog Tuesday morning burns off to bring more sunshine and daytime highs of 25°C.

Wednesday brings a mix of sun and cloud with temperatures that reach 27°C on a southerly breeze.

There is a slight risk of a shower or storm early Thursday morning, but the rest of the day will be mostly sunny, with daytime highs near 29°C. The heat and sunshine continue into Friday and this weekend, with temperatures remaining in the upper 20s.
