On Tuesday night, spring officially arrives. With the wacky weather this past winter, where winter felt more like fall or Spring, it seems only fitting that the start of spring will look more like winter.

In the week ahead, we will see weather conditions more typical of early March, with cold, blustery winds and accumulating snow. How long will it last? It will last at least for this entire work week and into this weekend.

Monday brings a mix of sun and clouds, with daytime highs of -2°C. Gusty northwest winds hang on to make it feel more like -10.

Cloud cover returns on Tuesday and temperatures will climb to +2°C. 2-4 cm of snow is likely in the morning, with a few scattered flurries for the rest of the day. More snow is likely again overnight.

A persistent northwest wind brings scattered snow squalls on Wednesday. Daytime highs are near -3°C, and wind chill values are near -10.

Thursday will be the coldest day of the week, with mostly cloudy skies and temperatures struggling to reach -5°C. Friday warms up a bit but brings the risk of more snow.
