The climate patterns for Sault Ste Marie suggest that this week should bring the warmest stretch of days for the entire year.  Mother Nature agrees, as we will get exactly that in the days ahead. It will be a hot, muggy workweek leading to the long weekend.

A few clouds arrive Monday, with isolated showers and thundershowers crossing the regions from early afternoon until early evening. Daytime highs reach 29°C, but the additional moisture will make it feel more like 35.

Skies will clear Tuesday morning and give way to afternoon temperatures near 28°C. The humidity will continue to make it feel several degrees warmer.

Wednesday and Thursday will be mostly sunny, with daytime highs of 31°C and humidex values of 36.

A few clouds and the chance of thunderstorms arrive on Friday, with temperatures still close to 30°C. An early peak at the upcoming long weekend suggests temperatures will fall a few degrees back to normal values for the start of August.
