High-pressure slides across Northern Ontario this week, bringing quiet weather and an eventual temperature increase. We will see a quick shot of colder air on Tuesday, but the rest of the week will bring temperatures above freezing that continue into this coming weekend.
Monday brings a mix of sun and cloud, with daytime highs reaching +7°C on a southerly breeze.
Tuesday will become sunny, but cold northwest winds will cause temperatures to drop throughout the day and to near -6°C in the afternoon. There is a slight chance of a few flurries.
Wednesday will be mostly cloudy as daytime highs climb back to +2°C.
Increasing sunshine will arrive on Thursday and Friday, with temperatures climbing closer and closer to +10°C.
