A brief cool down and wet weather early this week, quickly transitioning back to unusually warm temperatures by the end of this workweek and into this coming weekend. Average daytime highs for late September are usually in the mid-teens. However, by the end of the week, we can expect to be almost ten degrees warmer than usual and close to breaking record-high temperatures yet again.

Monday will be mostly sunny, with daytime highs near 19°C.

Clouds will build into the region on Tuesday, and there is a chance of an early afternoon shower as temperatures reach 20°C. More widespread shower activity is likely in the evening and overnight.

Skies gradually clear on Wednesday, with daytime highs of 21°C. Thursday and Friday will bring sunny skies and temperatures that climb back into the mid-20s.

The heat continues into this weekend and the start of next week.
