Mary Rossiter and 108 other Saultites were recognized last night at a provincial Volunteer Service Awards ceremony at the Waterfront Holiday Inn.

Mary was recognized for 40 years of service to the Sault Ste. Marie Horticultural Society.

"Volunteers build communities and the Volunteer Service Awards are an opportunity to recognize these individuals for the generous contributions to their community," said Mike Colle, Ontario Minister of Citizenship and Immigration.
