Weather Advisory in effect for:
- Sault Ste. Marie - St. Joseph Island
- Elliot Lake - Ranger Lake
- Blind River - Thessalon
- Manitoulin Island
Winter weather travel advisory in effect.
What: Snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 cm. Reduced visibility in areas of heavier snow.
When: Continuing through this morning and this afternoon.
Discussion: Areas east of Lake Superior will see closer to 10 cm of snow and areas northeast of Georgian Bay will see closer to 15 cm of snow. Snow will taper off this evening. Motorists should expect hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly. Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
