Some SooToday.com readers did a double-take today when they spotted the new bovine sculpture at Lock City Dairies, 938 McNabb Street.

The sculpture (shown) depicts a cow mounted atop a bull, holding up a Lock City milk can.

"The cattle and milk can are about three times life-size, and the cattle are anatomically correct," someone points out in SooToday's News Response forum.

"I'm sure all the up-tight prudes will be starting their letter-writing campaign as soon as they find out, but I say it's yet another great marketing idea from Vic Fremlin," our anonymous poster says.

Another responder, Sass2, replies "Okay, call me a prude all you like. I think the new Lock City sign is distasteful. The only possible reason for the extra detailing was for shock value. Well it has that but no class."

The following photos were taken by yet another SooToday.com regular.

We've used the term "viewer discretion advised" during the past week in a jocular sense, but this time we're serious.

Some of these images may be offensive to some readers.
