********************** Heyden, Ont. - Four Heyden youths were taken home to their respective parents over the weekend after they were found laying on the railway tracks and the side of the highway in Heyden.
Last night at about 8:30 p.m. a motorist reported four youths lying on Highway 556 near the Aweres Township Fire Hall.
The motorist report that at first he thought he hit one of the youths until all four got up and ran into the bush.
A second report from the same area a short time later indicated that the four were now laying on the railway tracks in the same area.
Police located the two girls and two boys, aged 12 and 13 in the area.
They all were taken home to their respective parents in hopes that a lecture in common sense and reality would delivered.
******************** A 23-year-old Heyden man will appear in bail court this morning after being accused of slashing a neighbour's tires and associating with another person while under a court order not to do so.
On Saturday morning a resident of Cedar Court in Rupert Acres Trailer Park awoke to find the front tires on her car had been slashed.
The investigation indicated that a neighbour may have been responsible for the act.
Police attended the home of the suspect and while talking to him they identified a female in the same house.
Further investigation indicated that the man had been previously released from custody under the conditions not to associate with the woman.
He was arrested and charged for slashing the tires and breach of a court order.
Twenty three year old Robert Morrision, of Cedar Court, Heyden will appear in bail court this morning.
******************** Heyden, Ont. - Sault Ste. Marie OPP is investigating the break and enter and theft into a shed in Heyden.
Sometime over the past two weeks thieves broke into a shed behind a home on Maki Lake Road in Heyden.
The thieves literally ripped a generator off a wall in the shed and stole the generator.
