A weak low-pressure system develops over the Sault region leading into this weekend, and then a fast-moving Alberta Clipper arrives on Sunday to bring another round of snow. Over the entire weekend, we are likely to see 10-15cm of snow, but warmer temperatures just below freezing and a few degrees warmer than normal remain in place.
Friday will be cloudy, with 2-5cm of light snow starting in the afternoon and ending in the evening as temperatures climb to -2°C.
Saturday brings a mix of sun and cloud with daytime highs of -2°C.
On Sunday, 5-10cm of widespread snow will move into the region, with temperatures steady at -2°C. Snowsqualls and cooler air return early next week.
