A weak disturbance early this weekend, combined with another near-miss from a significant snowstorm in the Lower Great Lakes, will bring another 15-30cm of snow to the Sault region this weekend. This snow will not come at once but spread out over the entire weekend.
Friday starts with a few sunny breaks, but clouds arrive later in the afternoon as temperatures reach -6°C. Snow arrives by midnight, with 3-7cm likely overnight.
Saturday will be cloudy with another 5-10cm of snow and daytime highs of -3°C.
More snow arrives for Sunday, with another 4-8cm of accumulation as temperatures fall to -7°C.
Frigid Arctic air will move back into the region on Monday and will hold on for much of next week.
