A cold front arrives early this weekend to drop temperatures by several degrees, gusty northwest winds and a mix of sun and cloud. The weather in October has been so warm that even this cool down will leave us with daytime highs a couple of degrees warmer than usual for the end of October. Get ready for another brief warmup next week.
Showers Friday morning will give way to a few breaks in the clouds later in the afternoon as temperatures reach 13°C. Later in the day, the cold front arrives, bringing gusty west winds, a noticeable temperature drop and more showers after midnight.
The cool northwest wind remains on Saturday, bringing a risk of isolated showers under partly cloudy skies and daytime highs of 9°C.
Sunday will be mostly cloudy, with afternoon temperatures near 11°C. Monday will begin a warming trend, sending daytime highs back into the teens and over five degrees warmer than normal.
