Weekend Outlook: A little well-timed rain and a quick cool down

Weather systems continue to pass through the Sault region every couple of days, bringing a day or two of sun and brief periods of wet weather. The rain this weekend should happen either overnight or early morning, leaving the afternoons to bring sunshine. Temperatures cool down for one day on Saturday, but the above-seasonal daytime highs return quickly on Sunday.

We will see mostly sunny skies on Friday, with daytime highs creeping up to 20°C. Clouds move in during the evening, with scattered showers arriving overnight.

Be prepared for a change in the weather on Saturday morning. Unsettled conditions, with clouds and rain, are on the horizon. However, skies should clear in the afternoon, and temperatures will reach 17°C.

Sunday brings a mix of sun and cloud, with a daytime high of 22°C. After sunset, scattered showers move into the region.
