Weekend Outlook: A little snow but no cold - yet

We will see just enough snow this weekend to transform the Sault region into something that looks a little more like Winter.  However, temperatures will slowly creep above freezing by the end of the weekend - leaving us over five degrees warmer than normal for early January.

We will see a drastic change to the overall weather pattern over Ontario next week.  A large storm system is targeting the Great Lakes that could bring significant snow to the Sault area and usher in much colder air for next weekend.  Will winter stick this time?

We will see sunny skies Friday morning, with a few afternoon clouds later as daytime highs reach -2°C. A chance of flurries moves in during the evening.

Light snow arrives Saturday with 2-4cm of accumulation throughout the day and temperatures again near -2°C. Sunday will remain cloudy with a few isolated flurries and daytime highs near +1°C.

Check back in on Monday to see more details on the mid-week storm.
