Considering the weather this summer, it'd be a win if we avoided widespread rain at any point during the weekend. Once we get a few showers out of the way on Friday, we might be able to go an entire weekend without rain.
However, the risk of a shower or isolated storm Saturday afternoon is in place - at least it will only last for a little while. Furthermore, temperatures could end up at or above seasonal values for early July.
Cloud cover returns Friday, along with scattered afternoon showers as temperatures reach 23°C.
Clouds will clear Saturday morning, paving the way for mostly sunny skies and daytime highs of 24°C. There is a slight risk of an isolated afternoon shower.
Sunday will be sunny, with temperatures climbing to 27°C. Clouds, rain and cooler weather are forecasted for Monday.
